1. Key Properties
X20Cr13 is a martensitic stainless steel with a high chromium content that provides excellent corrosion resistance along with good strength and hardness. It is commonly used for applications requiring a balance of strength, toughness, and resistance to oxidation, particularly in moderate corrosive environments. The round bar form of this alloy ensures high precision, making it ideal for machining into components that require dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality. While it offers good weldability and formability, it is also capable of achieving high hardness after heat treatment.
